@kari, Yes you but Milk, dairy is high in carbs so should be limited.
@kari, Your lettuce wraps call for 1/2 onion and 1/2 a tomato and a whole head of lettuce and you still can have a fruit. So are you allowed to mix with the tomato and lettuce in things, like soups besides say spinach or other saute and the tomato not count as the fruit, Or only if stalled don't mix veg. Also can you have kale and in salads are you allowed to mix the greens ex: lettuce, arugula, spinach, beet tops etc.
@kari, Per the hCG diet manuscript tomatoes is counted as a vegetable. You can mix fresh veggies and yes if you stall then stop mixing.
@kari, Nothing much. There isn't any spreads or creams or anything to the hCG diet. Plain is simple.
@Dez, Is sugarfree jello a freebee and the cucumbers in apple cider is that allowed 2 thin slices on the melba.as extra or still too much.
@kari, 1 melba toast. Don't know what you mean by cucumbers in apple cider. Are you putting cucumbers in apple cider? As long as it's counted you can use cucumbers in apple cider.
I am a vegeterian, what should I substitute for protein?
@Bobbie von Cork, The manuscript lists the foods you can have it is very very limited but some people have had success.
There are numerous brands of drops and they all have different doses. Go by the ones on the label that you are buying. I made the mistake of taking 15 drops twice a day because that was what my friend was doing. I felt very wired at bedtime and then realized that mine were more concentrated (and more expensive) and should have only taken 4 drops three times a day.
On your hCG Diet Phase 2 page, it says "Do not mix or combined vegetables"; however, some of your recipes call for more than one veggie (i.e. the chicken wrap with lettuce, tomatoe, and onion. Why do they say not to mix or combined veggies?
