You cannot use veg oil while on HCG these are bad recipes
I’m on day 14 and am down 12.6. I was extremely hungry at first but my doc up’d the dosage and I did much better after that. My problem is that I’m going to the State Fair tonight and wonder what would happen IF I had 1 gyro?? Has anybody been that bad yet??? I know I will get right back on track but I’d like to know what has happened to others…
Hello I am just starting my diet I am 3 days in and so far so good. But I would like to stay in the guidelines of the diet, I also want to know if we can use lean ground turkey, I had a 31/2 oz. pattie with some spinach and some cherries for my lunch hopefully the turkey didn’t hurt me.
Just finished my third week, 22lb loss
more to go. For chicken – If you like spicy try Franks chicken wing sauce about 1/3c, 1/4 squeezed lemon, garlic salt, pepper to taste, a little parsley, and onion powder. Marinade an hour or more and grill.
I’m on day 5 and the cravings are huge. Had the miracle noodles on hand, made some pasta sauce from a hcg aproved cook book, grilled up some chicken and voila! I felt like I was cheating! It was so good and it still stuck to the aproved foods!
I started my journey last Saturday, and I would like to maximize my results. The first couple of days I dropped 2 pounds per day and I was thrilled. I stalled already dropping less than a pound per day. Trying desperately to kick my diet coke…..will just 1 per day cause a problem? Also, with the melba toast, is the appropriate amount 1 piece or 1 serving (which is 3 pieces)? Thanks for any advice.
@ Claire: above right around the picture of the Noodles you will see links to P2 hCG diet recipes.

I am upgradeing and redesinging my site so I’ve been ansering in private.
I DO NOT want anyone to think it is OK to eat chocolate on the hCG diet. IT IS NOT approved. Mtn Mom sells it and is promoting it and her Naturopath said it was OK FOR HER. Fine with me, but understand cravings can be trigged by sight, smell, taste, etc. On P3 I can see this, but not on P2. Do not make things harder on yourself by starting something else that you have to fight. 26 days or 42 days isn’t a long time to stick to the plan.

I don’t understand why someone is eating chocolate? I started 6 days ago and have lost 8 pounds but I too, am very bored with the food. I am looking for recipes that will spice it up a little for me. Where would be the best place to find recipes for Phase 2?
I am loving the HCG diet and enjoying these recipes. For the dry skin, I have found the L’Bri brand of lotion does not impact weight loss so that has really helped. My first round, my hands and feet were cracking so that is gone. I also eat 2 pieces of my healthy chocolate that has helped in so many other health areas (my husband’s blood pressure and my sleep problems)…to be able to eat chocolate on this program – been very easy.
It is nice to have a variation on recipes but the end result is awesome so being monotonous isn’t hard either since I’m not really hungry. I’ve lost over 45 pounds and about the same in inches (classic Dr. Simeon rule). I have more to lose and believe I have finally after 15 years, found the last program I’ll ever need. Very exciting.
Can I drink a Whey Protein drink instead of 100 g of chicken for a meal? Sometimes it is quicker and easier. Thanks
I don’t eat red meat either. My doc. said that Turkey is fine. He says it should be at least 93% lean. Good luck. I’m on day 4 and have lost 3.5 lbs.
I have the same question as Valerie. I’m using lean ground turkey, but it is not on the list. Is it okay?
I have been using ground turkey instead of red meat. I am not a big red meat eater. I still have lost a lb a day i know that turkey is not on the list. Is that ok.
Noodles? Miracle Noodles? You can but you really want more fats those 2 days to prep for the 500 calories and to avoid the hCG diet headache. See hCG Diet Loading Days post for some ideas on what to eat during that time.

Can you eat the noodles on phase 1? I am going to start Monday and the demise to mostf my diets was the food choices. I am trying to prepare so I can avoid that problem.
@ Jose and Sandy:
I did but the post I made never was posted! I shows being posted in my admin panel but who knows.
Anyway, Not all recipes are for Phase 2 some are for Phase 3. It’s hCG Diet Friendly Recipes which includes P2 and P3. I didn’t label them. When I upgrade my site that will be changed.
The Miracle Noodles is straight from them, I didn’t alter as that would be a copy write violation, it would be good for P3 and P2 if you know how to alter recipes, I’m not good at that. I’m a boring cook but I like my food choices so I’m happy with my meals.
Sorry for the confusion! =-)
I’m with you Josie…someone please explain
I am confused. I thought you were not supposed to eat foods that are not on the approve HCG food list. But, most of the recipes have foods like vegetable oil, olive oil,
Parmesan cheese, roasted red peppers and etc. Please help.
@ Dewanye: Great!! For anyone else reading the weight loss is not average most lose 1 pound a day but this can happen and often does lose 2-3 pounds a day for a while. IF you find your lose is stalled try switching the meats as you are not supposed to have the same meat 2x in a day. SO if a stall try that 1st.
This is a amazing diet and I was very skeptical on any diet, but I have been on it for 2 weeks. I am losing an average of 3.2lbs a day. For breakfast, I eat a half a grapefruit and bottle of water and go to the gym and walk 3 mph for 30 minutes and then a melba toast x 2, at lunch (MY Favorite) 3 cabage rolls (stuffed with hamburger meat, tiny amount of onion for taste, salt, and pepper topped with tomatoe paste), and for supper I have a small bell pepper stuffed with the same meat as cabbage roll, and for snack a apple or a 4oz miracle noodles with cinamon and 1 package of Stevia. I am very pleased and Love the Diet.
@Brenda O: Mineral/Baby oil. It may sit on the skin and you may fry in the sun but you won’t be scaly. When I first did the diet in 2007 I gave up all hair products and my hair has thanked me, however hCG Diet Approved Haircare Products may have a product that will help.
Yes I agree with Barbie. You have to mix it up or the menu becomes boring. I rotate a steak, fish and chicken everyday so that I don’t get bored. All my friends think I’m nuts because I grill up my lunch at work, but now that I’m showing less-buldge they are becoming very interestd. My big problem is the lack of good lotion. I have lost about 16 pounds in 20 days, but my skin is so scaley. I can barely stand it. I have been using coconut oil, but it just isn’t cutting it. I’m afraid I’m going to shrivel up into a rasin! All I know is I am really happy with my weight results. It would just be easier if I wasn’t an alligator. How about dying my hair???? I am getting anxious to spruce up my look since I’m not wearing any make-up. Any suggestions or brands that are HCG safe????
I just started last Saturday, am doing well but am getting board with food choices. So I want to thank all of you for the wonderful recipes, I am looking forward to next week.
