hCG Diet Tips & Tricks
Having a binge eating feast or cheating on your hCG diet protocol is like restarting, but sometimes we just want something to satisfy a craving or need something different. To avoid breaking your hCG diet plan and still abate those cravings, or to just break up the strictness of the diet, occasionally you can have the following:
Tips to avoid a cheat
-
Sugar Free jello
-
Diet soda (go easy)
-
Popsicle with 0 fat, sugar and calories
-
L-Glutamine for cravings
-
Drink water.
-
Ice chips (the best ice is SONIC ice!!)
-
Adding fiber with Miracle Noodles.
Tricks to stay on hCG diet plan
-
Keep your hcg diet food on hand at all times.
-
Make food a few days out to avoid waiting till you are hungry to decide to cook.
-
Eat your food slowly.
-
Use a small salad plate vs. a huge dinner plate. This creates a visual and psychological effect.
Tips for a stall
-
If you find you are having a hCG diet stall (a stall is not losing for 4 or more days in a row) and need to get moving to stay motivated try the following;
-
Switch up what you are eating. If you find you are only eating steak, try chicken. If you are only eating chicken, try fish.
-
Add additional water to your current intake.
-
Try Corn Silk tea, Parsley tea, or Alpha tea. These are natural diuretics that may help you release additional water. There are additional natural diuretics.
-
Cut out the breadsticks or melba toast.
-
No eating out for a while.
-
Cut out diet drinks.
-
Check your hCG diet protocol rules and make sure you are eating as prescribed (mixing veggies, 100 grams of food, etc.)
-
Mix your fruit up and don’t have the same 2 fruits on the same day.
-
Avoid beef for a few days.
-
Cut out diet cheats or treats.
-
As a last resort if all else fails, eat 6 apples for 1 day, plus enough water to satisfy thirst
-
Try one of these hCG diet stall breaker meals, Apple Day or Steak Day.
Tips for eating out while in hCG diet protocol
If you have to eat out, grilled chicken salad works best, but needless to say, skip the dressing, cheese and croutons. You will probably be served more than 100 grams and you won’t be able to weight it, but it’s still the best choice. Some fast food places offer fruit or other healthier choices. As long as the fruit doesn’t have preservatives or additives they would be fine to eat.
hCG Food Shopping List
Depending on which hCG diet protocol you follow your list may vary, this is a general
hcg diet food list. Check your hCG diet food list to determine what you can or can’t have.
Eating organic is the best way to do the hCG diet protocol, however it may be cost prohibitive. Dr. Simeons developed the hCG diet and wrote Pounds and Inches during a time when hormones and pesticides were not widely used. He was also in another country that has vastly different guidelines on foods. However, you can still loss weight without being organic. It may be slower but it is possible.

hCG Diet Stallers and Craving Causers
There are some foods or additives that may cause people to stall on the hCG diet. YMMV because we are all individuals with different food sensitivities. You have to judge for yourself and observe how your body chemistry responds.

Splenda
-
Equal

Caffeine (in some, not all people)
-
Sugar alcohols
-
Ascorbic acid and or Citric Acid (found in sodas)
-
Egg yolks (arachidonic acid is found in the yolks)

Too many sodas
-
Too little water

Not having variety in foods
Here is the suggested foods for Phase 3 that work best for avoiding sugar and starch and the diet. 3 weeks if all you have for Phase 3.
Yes continue. Just check for hidden sugars and starches in the vitamins. Sometimes it can interfere.
Please explain what you are trying to say. What you wrote is confusing.
The same thing that happened to every other good diet when people are focused on making money vs. following the diet as outlined. It's going to make more people fail vs. succeed. I've watched it with Low Fat, Snackwells & Pre packaged foods; Low Carb, Atkins shakes and Pre packaged foods. Stick to real foods that is what your body needs for fuel.
Water retention will happend. The manuscript is clear that's a no no. Walking, Yoga, T-Tapp.
