hCG Diet Protocol Cheat

Well, these last few days, trying to lose weight on the hCG diet protocol may have been difficult. THANK YOU, Thanksgiving Weekend.

You have turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, string beans, peas, rolls, red velvet cake, coconut cake, pumpkin pie, apple pie, sweet potato pie, ice cream, whip cream, deviled eggs, roasted chicken, prime ribs, lamb, and on and on and on.

Not exactly hCG diet friendly food. Not many of these foods would be on the hCG diet protocol, and few of these foods will help hCG weight loss. BUT family and friends were around, and you were tempted and you ate…and then went back for seconds. Then Friday and Saturday came and well, you did bring a plate home with you, so you ate and ate some more.

Now it’s Sunday and cold reality sets in, you jump on the scale and guilt joins the bandwagon. So how do you brush off this monstrous hCG diet cheat?

DO NOT beat yourself up! That is the worst thing you can ever do. Accept whatever the gain is, accept the fact you ate and move on. Get over your hCG diet cheat real quick! Dwelling on cheats hurt your overall mood, focus and determination.
You maybe even tempted to just ditch the entire hCG diet protocol because you feel utterly bad about cheating. Don’t! hCG weight loss is still possible and you can do it!

DO some extra exercise. Exercise can release the stress you feel about cheating. T-Tapp has some great moves, specifically the Hoe Downs, to help neutralize a cheat. This simple move will make you sweat! Try the video below for the Hoe Down move. It truly is a carb buster!
Walk three times a day instead of one, adding an extra ten minutes to your walk. Exercise on the hCG diet protocol is good for you overall.  Just don’t over do it, and drink extra water.

ADD some extra water to your hCG diet protocol. Water will help you release additional water. Any gains you had on your hCG diet cheat is water weight, and the fastest way to move water weight is by increasing protein, decreasing carbs and increasing water.

GET STRICT with yourself. Get back to the basics of the hCG diet protocol, weigh your foods, eat only hCG diet foods.

Try one of the hCG diet stall ‘tricks’ to counteract the hCG diet cheat.
hCG Diet Apple Day is a plateau buster and can be found in the Pounds and Inches Manuscript for complete details. Basically, you eat 6 apples all day, drink water and nothing else.
hCG Diet Steak Day, is really done on maintenance, but it can also get you back to basics, bust a plateau, and even counter a cheat on the hCG diet protocol. For details, go to the Pounds and Inches manuscript. But the basic principle is to eat nothing all day until the evening meal, and then eat a nice juicy steak, grilled and 1 apple.

Final Thoughts

Doing a combination of Hoe Downs from T-Tapp, a Steak Day or an Apple Day, and increasing water intake for a day or two should put any cheat behind you quickly and get you back to hCG weight loss in short order. Or you can use Miracle Noodles to counter an hCG diet cheat, or break a hCG diet stall.

I did a successful 1st cycle of HCg and lost 19lbs, I did the maintenance for almost 3 weeks but got my period before I expected so I started my second cycle of HCG when my period was over. I am now on my 12th day and have had cravings like never before with shaking and sweating so I gave into chocolate. I stopped the drops 2 days ago. I am trying to do the 72 hour LCD and then plan on doing 3 weeks of maintenance. I have only lost 2 lbs in these 12 days. In your expertise if I do the 3 weeks of maintenance will that stabilize me at my first weight loss weight or have I completely ruined everything I have done?
@shelley, 3 weeks is stabilization not maintenance. Each round P1, 2, 3 you need to wait at minim 6 weeks. But you add 2 weeks per round. Per manuscript.
@Dez, OMG I am so confused maybe I have a different manuscript or Im reading it wrong. P1 is 2 days loading P2 is VLCD P3 is no sugar no starch for 21 days. This is what I understood or am I just way off.
@Shelley, Yes that is right, then you have to wait 6 weeks from round 1 to round 2 to do another round and add 2 weeks per additional round. That is in the manuscript as well. It gets overlooked as it seems a bit confusing. BUT it is there. The waiting is really maintenance. P3 is stabilizing you, 2 pounds from last hCG drops/injections.
@Dez, ah, ok. I didnt know about the 6 week in between sessions, I thought you could do p3 for the 21 days and then start again which is what I did. So I will do the P3 for 3 weeks. I wont start another session now until Oct. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Hopefully I can stabilize at this weight and not go back to square one which was 20 lbs ago. It seems to be ok so far I am able to stay within the 2 lbs. Im still not sure what you mean about adding on 2 weeks per round, do you mean the next time I do it after the 3 weeks of stabilizing I wait 8 weeks before another session? Thanks again.
@Shelley, Yes that is it. 1 hCG diet protocol round is P1, P2 and P3, so your next round wait 6 weeks. Then when you finish Round 2 (R2) you would wait 8 weeks. IF you had another round R3 wait 10 weeks and so fourth. I will say most people wait 6 weeks each round or because you can take time off some plan holidays, vacations, events around their next hCG round. That is another reason the hCG diet is popular, you don't have to feel as if you are constantly dieting. You can take a break from dieting and still be successful.
I just started my hCG diet less than a week ago and my old habbits are still here. I have a 3 year old that insists that I eat everything he is eating and I have some kind of guilt associated with throwing away food. As a treat I took him for donuts this morning and actually ate them too! I'm going to drink tons of water today to flush it out, jump on my eliptical maybe twice today, and continue with my hCG protocol for today and do an apple day tomorrow. Does anyone have any tips for resisting urges to eat what everyone else around me is eating?
@Holly, Well who runs your house? Who buys the food? Who drives the car? Frankly who is in charge the 3 year old or you? I hope you. With that why not teach your child good eating habits now and instill in them a love of fresh fruits and veggies? Why treat your child to donuts? Again you are in control of your life and your child. Your child will learn from your examples so make it good examples. Yes the #1 thing to do is keep your goals in mind, think of what got you in the position you are and how you want to live your life. I am sure others will chime in.
well, it is March 7th and I did hcg back in November, injections and lost about 20 lbs in 30 days, went off for holidays (2 months) and only gained 7 lbs, never did maintenance. Then I switched to drops (cause cheaper & less painful) and have been on them for a month now with only 2 months break in between, I lost about 13 lbs, have been cheating for a week and gained 7 lbs again. What do I do now? do I just stay on hcg drops, get back on the diet? how do I get through Easter, bday events, life with success? I am so torn what to do and how to do it. I thought about transitioning into southbeach diet, at least I could function on more calories and exercise. any advice would be great. thank you. not even sure if I am telling all that you need to know. :)
@Benny, Get back on track. You have to. All that is a part of life, holidays come, bdays come, everything comes. You have to deal. Nothing is ever perfect but just work with it.
