hCG Diet Protocol Cheat

Well, these last few days, trying to lose weight on the hCG diet protocol may have been difficult. THANK YOU, Thanksgiving Weekend.

You have turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, string beans, peas, rolls, red velvet cake, coconut cake, pumpkin pie, apple pie, sweet potato pie, ice cream, whip cream, deviled eggs, roasted chicken, prime ribs, lamb, and on and on and on.

Not exactly hCG diet friendly food. Not many of these foods would be on the hCG diet protocol, and few of these foods will help hCG weight loss. BUT family and friends were around, and you were tempted and you ate…and then went back for seconds. Then Friday and Saturday came and well, you did bring a plate home with you, so you ate and ate some more.

Now it’s Sunday and cold reality sets in, you jump on the scale and guilt joins the bandwagon. So how do you brush off this monstrous hCG diet cheat?

FIRST

DO NOT beat yourself up! That is the worst thing you can ever do. Accept whatever the gain is, accept the fact you ate and move on. Get over your hCG diet cheat real quick! Dwelling on cheats hurt your overall mood, focus and determination.
You maybe even tempted to just ditch the entire hCG diet protocol because you feel utterly bad about cheating. Don’t! hCG weight loss is still possible and you can do it!

SECOND

DO some extra exercise. Exercise can release the stress you feel about cheating. T-Tapp has some great moves, specifically the Hoe Downs, to help neutralize a cheat. This simple move will make you sweat! Try the video below for the Hoe Down move. It truly is a carb buster!
Walk three times a day instead of one, adding an extra ten minutes to your walk. Exercise on the hCG diet protocol is good for you overall.  Just don’t over do it, and drink extra water.

THIRD

ADD some extra water to your hCG diet protocol. Water will help you release additional water. Any gains you had on your hCG diet cheat is water weight, and the fastest way to move water weight is by increasing protein, decreasing carbs and increasing water.

FOURTH

GET STRICT with yourself. Get back to the basics of the hCG diet protocol, weigh your foods, eat only hCG diet foods.

FIFTH

STEAK DAY or APPLE DAY

Try one of the hCG diet stall ‘tricks’ to counteract the hCG diet cheat.
hCG Diet Apple Day is a plateau buster and can be found in the Pounds and Inches Manuscript for complete details. Basically, you eat 6 apples all day, drink water and nothing else.
hCG Diet Steak Day, is really done on maintenance, but it can also get you back to basics, bust a plateau, and even counter a cheat on the hCG diet protocol. For details, go to the Pounds and Inches manuscript. But the basic principle is to eat nothing all day until the evening meal, and then eat a nice juicy steak, grilled and 1 apple.

Final Thoughts

Doing a combination of Hoe Downs from T-Tapp, a Steak Day or an Apple Day, and increasing water intake for a day or two should put any cheat behind you quickly and get you back to hCG weight loss in short order. Or you can use Miracle Noodles to counter an hCG diet cheat, or break a hCG diet stall.

I have been on the hcg plan for 8 days and have lost 6 lbs. I thought I would be losing more than this I have followed the menu and diet and yesterday could barely get all my food intake in I felt nauseated and everytime I took a bite it would take lots of water to get it down.
@Korime Meledon, Are you drinking water? That really helps, 2 liters is the goal. 3.5 oz or 100 grams of protein. Veggies? Variety with every meal? IF eating the breadsticks or toast ditch it.
Dez, So I have been taking homeopathis drops for 18 days and lost 17 pounds. My original plan was to do the 42 days. However, I ordered your drops because I want to see of the 'real' stuff will curb my hunger more. I have not deviated once from Simeons protocol (I am following HIS exactly) and really don't eat the melba or grissini. I do fine without. I am amazed I can eat this 500 calories and never sway if there is truly no HcG in these homeopathic drops.....but the mind can be amazing. So here is my question.....I will start your drops tomorrow. I really just want to start over. I know you have a 'break' section but I don't wish to calorie count to 800 and take more drops the first two days. Instead I just want to do the 2 day LOAD and pretend my wait 'started' at what it is now. If the homeopathic has no HcG in it like you say...this should not be a problem....right? It is a mental thing for me. Thanks. :) Kelsey
@Kelsey, Okay, my only concern is the muscle lose with homeopathic. You can do the loads, you may gain a few pounds but you can do what you describe. HTH
@Dez, So it turns out I decided not to do the re-load days for fear of gaining...so I stuck to the 500 even after starting your REAL drops and have been fotunate to still lose .5 a day. That makes 22 pounds in 26 days. So here is my question.....you and I both had concerns that my first 16 days could have been muscle b/c of homeopathic. In your opinion, when I get to Phase 3.....do you think I will just gain a bunch of weight back too quickly as I start to work out again and eat more protein b/c I lost all muscle?? That would be a bummer. And also, do you think I can go past 42 days to 58 (42 plus the 16 I 'lost' with fake homepathic).....if I don't reach my goal of 35? As always grateful, Kelsey
@Kelsey, No your have had real hCG so you will give your hypothalamus what it needs to adjust. Yes work out but stick to the recommend Phase 3 foods and eat whole foods vs. man made, white flour loaded foods, sugar starch. You can give it a shot. IF you notice you are slow to lose or stop then get off the drops and move onto P3. Give your body a rest then restart after 6 weeks. HTH
So glad these posts are here. One question though--if i am trying to recover from a minor cheat (about 300 extra calories from sugary and fatty foods on evening of day six) and I have the miracle noodles, is it okay to have a day or two with 0 calorie intake? Or should I make sure to have a few calories? Have been having great results but only lost 0.2 lbs after cheat night and then only 1 lb after next day of only 430 calories of VLCD food. I want to get back to my 1.6-2.4 lbs per day. P.S. That 'little' cheat was sooo not worth it unless I can get back on track fast.
@von, Hey seems you were doing GREAT but a cheat does stall and you learned that. Don't know if you will go back to the previous losses. It will slow down a bit. If you are a guy you do have a better chance at the upper limits of losing than women. No you should eat something, even if it's only salads and grilled meat. You don't want to throw yourself into being ravenous and over eating. You can use the Miracle Noodles to replace a meal but if you want quick lose use them sparingly. Also a good way to burn up that sugar and carb overload, exercise. Walking, T-Tapp Hoe Downs are 2 great ways to move the carbs out of your system (really burn it out). HTH
Hello, This is my 3rd time on this diet and I lose weight and am able to keep it off and am really clos to my goal. I just started it again last Thursday and did my fat load days Thurs/Fri. I started P2 Saturday and have lost about 8 pounds with about 8 more to go. If I hit my goal wight before the full 21 days is up, can I phase myself off the drops and start maintenence phase earlier? I losing an average of 1.5 to 2 #'s per day so I should be at goal in about 5-6 days from now..
@Aimy you can break early. Follow the hCG diet break rules. You are doing GREAT!!!!
