hCG Diet Phase 2

This is where it gets a little confusing. When you are searching and finding information, or reading hCG diet forums about the hCG diet or phase 2 of the hCG Diet, the hCG diet Phase 2, based on Dr. Simones’, Pounds and Inches, and Kevin Trudeau’s, The Weight Loss Cure, are different parts of the same hCG diet.

As a matter of fact, it was only after Kevin Trudeau’s The Weight Loss Cure came out and people on the internet start talking, exchanging ideas, successes, and stories, and seeking help and more information about the hCG diet, that it became part of the lexicon to refer to the various parts of the diet as phases and stages as rounds.

Dr. Simeons hCG Diet Phase 2

Dr. Simeons has you starting the actual ‘diet’ of the hCG diet, eating the specific hCG diet foods called for in Dr. Simones Pounds and Inches manuscript in Phase 2.

The hCG Diet Phase 2 lasts for 26 days or 40 days. The day difference depends on how much weight you have to lose and how long you prefer to diet. While you are on the diet phase of the hCG diet, you will continue injecting hCG, or taking your oral hCG for a 26 or 40 day time period.

However, the last 3 days, (day 23 or day 37 respectively) you will stop taking hCG, but continue to eat the hCG diet foods of 500 calories. This gives the hCG time to leave your system before you begin either your hCG diet hiatus, or you go on to maintaining your weight loss.

A word about the hCG allowed foods. As the diet has evolved and become popular, others have added other foods to this list or increased the caloric intake. Dr. Simeons’ hCG diet food list is very specific, very limited, and very low in calories, 500 per day. The hCG allowed food is, NO fat, VERY low carb and HIGH protein. This allows for optimal fat loss from the body in the shortest amount of time.

MEAT

• 2 servings of meat a day
• Do not combine the servings.
• Do not have the same meat the same day or 2 days in a row.
• Each serving is 100 grams or 3.5 oz.
• Occasionally eggs
• 1 whole egg and 3 whites poached, boiled or even scrambled
• Or 100 grams of skimmed milk cottage cheese

VEGETABLES

• Do not mix or combine vegetables.
• 2 servings a day
• Dr. Simeons doesn’t give an amount of hCG approved vegetables. The popular consensus is 2 cups per meal before cooking.

FRUIT

• 2 servings of fruit
• Do not combine the servings.
• Do not have same fruit the same day or 2 days in a row.

BREADS

• 2 servings of bread a day
• Either Melba Toast or Grissini breads
• Do not combine the servings.

LIQUIDS

• Water is essential, a minimum of 8 – 8oz glasses a day.
• Coffee
hCG diet tea
• 1 TBS of milk a day only

Kevin Trudeau’s hCG Diet Phase 2

Kevin Trudeau’s Phase 2 is when you start the hCG diet loading days, while you take your oral hCG or inject hCG. Essentially, KT’s Phase 2 is Dr. Simeons hCG diet phase 1.

This is the fun part of the hCG diet for most, as you gorge on fun foods that you will miss for a few days, and load up on fats and such.

Yes you saw it on Kevin Trudea for the hCG diet.  IT can be used on the skin and in cooking.  I wouldn't go overboard or anything but coconut oil is not the typical oil and is good for you and your fat lose.

can I still continue using my probiotics in the morning to take my vitimans on the 2nd phase of the hcg diet
@Roberta rodriguez, You probably won't need the probiotics during the diet but it won't hurt. Yes on the vitamins continue to take them. HTH
hi, i forgot to also ask about all the other sea food, can any of them be frozen and then thaw to weigh? and all the other meat, chicken and so on, can they be frozen or do all the meats and sea food must be fresh, as i mentioned in precious email,, i am not able to buy fresh fish. thanks again for all your help, it is really appreciated,
@cequoya , Yes with the other seafood and meats, make sure they don't contain sugar and the lowest salt you can get. Weigh after defrosting. HTH
i see on the list of meats fresh fish, (i am unable to digest beef) and chicken breast, my question is i am unable to buy fresh fish, is frozen ok? and is dark meat of chicken i do not see it on the list but am wondering. thank you for helping, it is appreciated.
@cequoya, IF you have to use fresh frozen foods that is fine. READ the labels for extra salt added or sugars. Use white meats only, no fats. Dark meat has more fat content. HTH
I'm interested in this diet, but I'm just not sure it's doable for me. The list of foods is so extremely limited, and I already have an extremely limited list of foods that I will eat (super taster, lots of stuff I don't like = gag reflex). I would have no problem with 2 oranges a day, but I guess you can't repeat. Apples and Strawberry's aren't good for me. I can do applesauce maybe, but I haven't tried unsweetened before (which is required right?) As for the meat, I'm not sure eactly what I'm supposed to do there. I can't eat chicken without some form of breading (even if it's very light) and steak and such I love...but with ketchup (I'm assuming this is a no go?) Vegetables is going to be even worse. I do not eat salads of any kind, and the only vegetables I'm going to eat are corn, green beans, broccoli, and if I must asparagus, but with gb's and broc I also like ketchup. I'm not sure of the breads mentioned, I've never had those. This is the biggest problem I find with diets is that they don't take into account those of us with limited pallets. All the diet tips/recipes I usually see with diets/exercise programs are almost always completely useless to me. Any input or suggestions in regards to HCG?
@Kevin, Well this isn't going to be the diet for you. Not liking the foods is going to lead to your failure on the hCG diet. Really any diet if you don't like the food on the weight lose phase your going to be doomed. Sorry if this isn't encouraging but being honest and straight forward works best.
Dez! One more question for you related to navigating and fine tuning the protocol. I'm having a hard time getting everything in. I'm doing drops twice a day - which ties up two hours in terms of opportunities to eat. Starting the day with drops and the wait time that goes with them, there is the breakfast fruit and the fruit snack, then lunch, more drops, more waiting, then dinner. I'm not eating the bread, I've got a gluten issue and it seems optional anyway. It still feels like I am eating all day long and those two fruits in the morning are sometimes eaten just an hour apart. Any tips on where I might have some wiggle room? I really want to get rid of that fruit snack. Thanks!!!
