I am very interested in trying this diet. I need to lose about 20-25 lbs. I have always been a fairly healthy eater but I decided to become vegan about 6 weeks ago. I only eat organic and I don't eat processed anything.(I still haven't lossed anything) My question I guess is, what can I do as a substitute for the meat because I don't want to give up on my way of eating?
@Sydney, You can use eggs and cottage cheese. Not many choices after that.
@Dez, eggs and cottage cheese are animal products which is not part of a vegan lifestyle. Am I able to omit animal products all together? Can I substitute beans or legumes? Thanks
@Sydney, Then you will have a very hard time doing this diet as beans and legumes are not allowed. They are starch, very high in starch and yes fiber but your lose would be very slow if at all.
You say to count the number of days on the calendar and only marking actual calendar days. Not your monthly cycle or Sundays off! What do you mean by Sundays off?
@Whendi, IF you are doing 42 day protocol you take Sundays off, no drops or injections.
