hCG Diet Food

The second most asked question about the hCG diet protocol is, “What food can I eat on the hCG diet?”

We’ve broken down a list of allowed foods for the hCG diet. If you are ever in doubt, refer back to Dr. Simeons Pounds and Inches, or this list hCG diet food as a reminder.

You can use a variety of seasonings to spice up your foods, when cooking.  Just read labels and avoid spices and seasoning with added sugar, fat and MSG.  And you can purchase an hCG diet cookbook from the hCG Diet Store to prevent yourself from getting into a cooking rut.

A cooking rut or boredom can be a reason for diet failure.

There are a few hCG diet recipes on this site, as well as an hCG diet menu to get you started.

And don't forget hCG Diet Phase 1 Foods and hCG Diet Phase 3 Foods.  Both food lists will help your hCG Diet Journey.

IF A Food Is NOT On The List DO NOT EAT IT.

@Amy,

Using homeopathic you will not only lose lean muscle mass but bone as well.  Test your hCG.  That which you purchased is homeopathic. Read the Best hCG Drops how to Test Your hCG.  You don't have to take our word for it, a simple test will tell you what you have.  IF you call them they will give you a song and dance about why it won't test.  Bottom line is the injections test and the oral test if you use real hCG.

Just started The My HCG Solution in drops on Sunday, February 5, 2012. My question, how many drops do I take in a day and what is considered a drop?
@Sonya,

That is a homeopathic hCG.  That contains 0 hCG and will cause bone and muscle lose and put your body in starvation mode.  Thus we don't support anything that does not contain real hCG.

New to the HCG diet, and need to know if "all" tea is permitted? I like Lipton's Diet Lemon tea and want to add Stevia to it. My second question is mixing vegatables to eat a salad. Older posts I see on the site say it's okay to combine 2 or more raw vegatables, and newer posts state the opposite. Please clarify.
@Newbie,

Have any tea you want the hCG diet teas recommended have properties that will help with weight loss.

You can combined salad veggies.

Is soy sauce even allowed on this diet? i thought condiments without sugar, fat, msg or calories were the only ones you could have?
@megan ,

Read the label.  MOST soy sause has MSG, high in sodium and sugar.

Is xylitol sweetener allowed. Im doing my food list so it doesn't matter what I buy just been told it taste better or no after taste.
Hello, I have been doing the drops now for 10 days. I am hungry. Everyone says that I shouldn't be. I am following the protocol and drinking alot of water. What is wrong?
