After the hCG Diet

What do we eat on the hCG Phase 3 after the hCG diet weight loss phase is over? That seems to be a question that plagues many hCG dieters. It isn’t hard to do the hCG diet phase 3 or to know what to eat, however it is as personal as your DNA.

This alone is a strong reason to eat organic foods.

Stronger antibiotics used in our meat sources, stronger pesticides used on fruits and vegetables we consume, in addition to methods of food processing, sensitivities to foods, and food allergies may play a significant role in what you can and cannot eat in your hCG diet phase 3, or ongoing maintenance or eating plan for life.

• Exercise — If you are doing weight training then you are increasing muscle mass and will gain MUSCLE, not fat. So don’t confuse muscle gain from with fat gain, and disregard the scale.

Emotional Issues

Don't forget to treat yourself well during any of the phases! Slurge on really good veal or lobster...you're not eating that much...ask the butcher how to best prepare it. Please, please to not BOIL your meats which will turn them to rubber and make for a depressing/flavorless meal. Post-HCG, don't waste calories on ... well... crap or convenience. When you're ready for a cookie make it a warm, gormet cookie! Fast food - why do it? Go get some fabulous ground meat, season it right and make a burger that will be to DIE for! So in phase 3 as long as you stay within the 2 lbs and try to make healthy decisions can you go back to bread and sugars? Or does this mess up resetting your hypothalmus? Or just staying within the 2 lbs...does this still reset it even eating what you want?
@Lori, After you finish P3 you will have to see what works for you and your weight loss. For instance, some people have issue with man made prepackaged foods and must avoid them to maintain their lose. Foods today are very different in than they were 50 years ago, heck 20 years ago. You have a lot of sugars, salts added to man made foods and more man made foods then you did back then. Listen to your body and how your body response to foods, man made or nature made.
